Build, Buy, Furnish

Thank you for helping us turn our reimagined shelter into a home.

Through our Furnishing Hope Sponsorship Packages, you can sponsor the space that matters most to you, whether it’s a family room, a bed for a child, or a place of gathering and care.

With your support, every corner of this shelter will be filled not just with furniture, but with hope, dignity, and comfort for our unhoused neighbors. We are so grateful for your generosity and for the love you are pouring into this project.

Getting involved is simple.

Your sponsorship opportunities!

Our adult day room is designed as a safe and welcoming space where single adults can find comfort and community throughout the day. Here, guests can relax, socialize, or access computers, while also enjoying hospitality like coffee, tea, water, and healthy snacks. For those who don’t have work, school, appointments, or meetings with supportive services, this room provides a caring environment to belong, recharge, and connect with others.

Sponsor the whole room or select items that you would like to donate to help fill this space with comfort and love!

Our men’s and women’s dorms are thoughtfully designed with rest and healing in mind. Beds are divided by constructed walls and curtains to reduce noise and create a greater sense of privacy. This layout allows guests to share community while also enjoying a quieter, calmer environment that supports safety, dignity, and a good night’s sleep.

Our de-escalation room is a calm, quiet space designed to help guests step away from stressful situations and find their balance. Soft lighting, comfortable seating, and soothing colors create a safe environment where guests can breathe, reflect, and receive support if needed. This room is an important part of our trauma-informed care, offering dignity and choice while helping to restore peace and well-being.

These offices give each Director a dedicated space to focus on work or to meet privately with guests engaged in Project Recovery, Project Well Being, the Medically Fragile Program, and our Workforce Development Program. Each office includes a desk, filing cabinet, sitting area, and meeting table. With your sponsorship, Directors can choose their own furnishings to create welcoming spaces that reflect their style and comfort guests.

These spaces are available to be adopted and decorated by you...

Some of the most special rooms in our new reimagined shelter are being built around learning, growth, and connection — and you can help bring them to life. If you’d like to purchase items yourself rather than making a financial donation, we welcome you to choose from these spaces:

  • (SPONSORED) Early Education Classroom: A joyful, colorful, and safe space where our youngest guests can play, learn, and grow. Think child-sized furniture, learning toys, and creative supplies.
  • (SPONSORED BY DANA ZUCKERMAN) Teen Lounge: A welcoming hangout designed for relaxation, creativity, and connection. Items like couches, beanbags, games, and art supplies will make this a space teens can truly call their own.
  • (SPONSORED BY CLĒNERA) Family Lounge: The heart of family life in our shelter, where parents and children can gather, share meals, or spend time together. Dining tables, comfy seating, and games will make this room warm and inviting.
  • (SPONSORED) Adult Library & Computer Room: A quiet retreat for adults to read, study, or work toward their goals. Books, computers, desks, and comfortable seating will help make this a hub for growth and opportunity.
  • (SPONSORED) Library:  There will be 2 libraries in the Family Shelter, a family library and a young adult library. Help us design and furnish there cozy, peaceful space filled with books that inspire, teach, and bring comfort. Add shelves, reading chairs, and lamps to make it complete.

If one of these spaces speaks to your heart, you can choose items that match your vision and purchase them directly. Every book, desk, rug, or lamp you provide will be a lasting part of a room filled with hope and possibility.

If you would like to adopt one of these special spaces, please email our Executive Director, Jodi Peterson-Stigers at jodi@interfaithsanctuary.org.
