BOISE, ID – January 8, 2019 – The Board of Directors of the Interfaith Sanctuary Shelter of Boise, Idaho are pleased to announce that they have named Jodi Peterson to the position of Executive Director. For the past two years, Peterson has served as Development Director of the shelter, with responsibility for fundraising as well as developing new programs and homelessness solutions. In her new role, Peterson will be responsible for the entire Interfaith Sanctuary operation.
“Jodi brings immense passion, creativity and strategic direction to the role of Executive Director,” said Andy Scoggin, President of Interfaith Sanctuary’s Board of Directors. “In her time with us, she has overseen the development of programs that serve clientele from shelter entry to shelter exit, which has grown our shelter’s mission significantly. She will continue to focus on innovating ways to reduce homelessness in our community by helping our guests to find resources, employment and housing here in the Treasure Valley.”
