“Access to Housing,” the first episode of Interfaith Sanctuary’s Word on the Street Podcast, is now streaming on Soundcloud and Spotify. The podcast, produced by Interfaith Sanctuary, examines homelessness in Boise through conversations with people responding to and experiencing homelessness in our area every day.
In this episode, we speak with CATCH Executive Director Stephanie Day and Our Path Home CONNECT Program Director Sara Busick about their work, barriers to housing, and ways the community can get involved.
Word on the Street emphasizes compassion, dignity, and solutions. We believe that while homelessness is complex, it’s solvable. Ensuring that every person has a safe place to live takes a village, and we hope these discussions inspire listeners to learn more and be part of the change.
The Word on the Street Podcast is hosted by Interfaith Sanctuary Executive Director Jodi Peterson-Stigers and Erin Sheridan, editor of the Word on the Street newspaper.
Music by Geoffrey McCauley and Adam Monus.
