About Us

We provide day programming and night shelter. During the day, our building becomes a sanctuary of learning, recovering, growing, creating and supportive programming that helps move our guests forward toward a better life. By night, our building is a low barrier shelter to our community’s most vulnerable. What began as a place to get a warm meal and a safe place to sleep, has become a deeper commitment to providing our guests with the support they need to rebuild their lives.

Interfaith is the only low-barrier shelter in the Treasure Valley. We are a sanctuary for all genders, races, religions and sexual orientations. Our guests include those with disabilities and major health issues; the unemployed and underemployed; those who lack access to education or are priced out of housing; unhoused seniors; and LGBTQIA+ community members. We offer our unhoused neighbors a home for community, a warm meal, and a safe place to rest.
