Paint Supplies

As you may know, our shelter construction project was recently completed and we’re now preparing to repaint most of the shelter! The first step is to prime all the walls and for this we’re seeking supplies including:

  • 15 Five-Gallon Buckets
  • 15 Screens (for Five-Gallon Buckets)
  • 30 Paint Rollers
  • 30 Paint Roller Covers (Low-Nap)
  • 10 Paint Brushes
  • 5   Small Buckets
  • 10 Sponges
  • 5   Blue Tape Rolls
  • 20 (or more) Fabric Drop Cloths or Old Curtains
  • 5   Bags of Rags

Volunteer crews are ready as soon as the supplies come in! Scroll down for donation drop-off information. If you’d like to make a financial donation to cover this specific expense, please reply to this email or call our development office at 343-4160.

To avoid duplication of paint supply items, you can email our Special Projects Coordinator for updates at info@interfaithsanctuary.org.

Donation Drop Offs

Donations can be delivered to the shelter at 1620 W. River Street any evening after 6 pm. Note that the best time for evening deliveries is between 6:30 pm and 8 pm. Here’s a link to directions: https://interfaithsanctuary.org/location-and-hours/
After arriving on Cooper Court from Americana/16th, bear to your right by the Connector wall and head to the River Street side of the building where you can park. In the evening, the River Street doors are not accessible, so you’ll need to walk around the building to the gated parking lot entrance. Upon arrival, ask for the shift manager and he can provide you with assistance in unloading your car if necessary. If you’d like to make a donation and cannot come in the evening, please email and we’ll work to arrange this.

Thank you all for your generosity and care.
